Džaferi: We fully support Kosovo's integration into NATO

(Patria) - Prime Minister of North Macedonia Talat Džaferi stated yesterday in Pristina that his country fully supports Kosovo's integration into NATO.

Džaferi said that North Macedonia fully supports the Republic of Kosovo and its strategic goal of integration into NATO, especially considering the current geopolitical context and the ongoing military actions in Ukraine and the Middle East.

The Prime Minister of North Macedonia stated this during a visit to the private "AAB College" in Pristina, delivering a lecture to students on the topic "Friendly Relations between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of North Macedonia".

Speaking about North Macedonia's support for Kosovo's European integration path, as well as membership in international organizations and initiatives, Džaferi expressed confidence that this support will never be lacking.

- As representatives of the state and compatriots, we do not miss any opportunity to support membership, participation, or at the very least, securing observer status for the Republic of Kosovo - Džaferi added.

He added that the bilateral political relations between the two countries are characterized by open and constructive dialogue, as well as productive and fruitful cooperation in all areas of common interest, as well as the exchange of experiences and cooperation in the integration processes into NATO and the EU, which are essential for the entire Western Balkan region.
