(Patria) - No one from Group E of the Eurobasket 2025 qualifiers has secured a spot in the final tournament yet, except for Cyprus, which qualified automatically as one of the hosts.
Key matches follow, and the penultimate round matches are scheduled for tonight.
France is currently first in the group with a maximum of four wins, followed by BiH with a 2:2 record, and Croatia has the same record with a worse head-to-head score than the Dragons. Cyprus has all losses.
The French team would secure a spot in the Eurobasket one round before the end with a win tonight in Zadar or a victory by the Cypriots against BiH in Tuzla's Mejdan.
The BiH national team will directly qualify for the Eurobasket one round before the end, provided they beat Cyprus and France wins against Croatia at the same time.
If they lose to France and BiH beats Cyprus, Croatia's dreams of playing in the Eurobasket would be extinguished tonight.
If things are not decided in the penultimate round, the decision will fall in the final 40 minutes of the qualifiers on Monday, when France hosts BiH, and Croatia visits Cyprus.
The basketball Dragons will host the Cypriots tonight at 8:00 PM in Tuzla's Mejdan, with a live broadcast on Sportklub1 channel.
