Dubai convincingly defeats Split, Musa leaves court due to injury

(Patria) - Dubai basketball players convincingly defeated Split today in the first round of the ABA League with a score of 92:58.

The team from the United Arab Emirates is competing in the regional competition this season, in addition to the EuroLeague, so the coach carefully distributed minutes among his most important players.

The first quarter brought a bit more uncertainty, but by halftime, the home team had already secured a comfortable +10 lead (44:34).

In the second half, the difference only grew, and Dubai routinely secured a victory at the start of the season.

Džanan Musa, who left the game in the second quarter due to injury, scored seven points in eight minutes of play, while Kenan Kamenjaš recorded six points, nine rebounds, and two assists.

Among the BiH players, Kosta Kondić was the most notable with 12 points, three rebounds, and one assist.

The most effective player for the winning team was Dwayne Lee Bacon with 17 points, while in Split, Leon Radošević was the best with 15 points scored.
