Đonlagić for NAP: The outgoing year is unsuccessful for the government of the Troika, HDZ, and SNSD, the opposition saved laws and the state!

(Patria) - Delegate in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dženan Đonlagić (DF) summarized the outgoing year in an interview with the Patria News Agency.

Regarding the work of the state House of Peoples, Đonlagić says that only the political success of opposition delegates in preventing the vote on the Law on the Constitutional Court of BiH, which in its content foresaw the transformation of the state Constitutional Court into an ethnic and entity court, will be remembered.

- If that had passed, it would have led to a serious collapse of the state. Thanks to the opposition, we convened a session and adopted the Law on Prevention of Money Laundering, which is part of the so-called European laws. Towards the end of the year, the government lost its majority in the House of Peoples - said Đonlagić.

Our interlocutor claims that the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina has "failed" in 2024.

- The Troika consciously chose and voted for personnel coming from the entity of RS. The arrested Minister of Security, Nenad Nešić, is the choice of the deputies of the SDP, NS, and NiP in the House of Representatives.

A huge failure of this Council of Ministers of BiH is the non-adoption of the Draft Budget of BiH Institutions for 2025 - emphasizes Đonlagić.

We also asked him how much positive impact the Troika coalition - HDZ at the federal level, and Troika - SNSD - HDZ at the state level, has had on the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina during 2024?

- In 2024, the federal government of the Troika and HDZ failed the exam by not adopting the set of fiscal laws and increasing the minimum wage. The Troika promised that the minimum wage would be 1,000 KM from January 1, 2024, and they lied about that.

The end of 2024 is even more uncertain. There is no adopted budget for 2025, which is a legal obligation to adopt by December 31, 2024. Also, they sent a very bad message and uncertainty to the business sector.

The so-called Ordinance on Minimum Income is being adopted under the veil of secrecy. As the Prime Minister said, it is not a secret, but it is confidential. Of course, business people had already prepared financial plans for 2025 earlier this year, without knowing the content of the ordinance. That's not how it's done!

When it comes to the growth of citizens' living standards through increased salaries and pensions, 2024 is a year of failure for the government.

At the state level, the Troika, gathered around SNSD and HDZ, functions only in terms of appointing people to positions. The strategic mistake of the Troika was choosing SNSD as a partner in power, even though it was known that power could be formed without them.

In addition, they ceded the position of director of the Indirect Taxation Authority of BiH to SNSD and voted for a sum that increased to nearly 100 million KM for the purchase of a building from a "known seller".

HDZ "pushed" cantons into the Working Group for the adoption of the Growth Plan for drawing funds from the EU, which was completely unnecessary.

Due to the failure to fill the Constitutional Court of BiH and disagreement on removing the entity veto in the realization of funds from the EU, which is a requirement of the European Commission, SNSD has essentially "blocked" the acceptance of the Growth Plan for BiH by EU institutions.

The government is ending 2024 with a major failure, except in appointing party members to positions - assesses Đonlagić.

Finally, we asked him - how dangerous are the conclusions adopted at the last session of the NSRs for Bosnia and Herzegovina and what should be an adequate response to such a move by the regime in the smaller BiH entity?

- Bosnia and Herzegovina can exist without the RS entity, but the entity cannot exist without Bosnia and Herzegovina. Those responsible for the implementation of the mentioned conclusions will answer before the judiciary sooner or later. The response of judicial institutions is the only adequate one - concluded Đonlagić in an interview with Patria.
