(Patria) - The European Rafting Championship Konjic 2024 concluded with a spectacular award ceremony, where the most successful participants were announced after three days of competition on the Neretva River.
This exceptional sporting event brought together 30 teams from 12 countries, competing in the slalom, RX, and downriver disciplines.
Medals and unique wood-carved trophies, the work of Konjic woodcarvers, were presented to the participants by the Mayor of Konjic, Osman Ćatić, European bodybuilding and fitness champion Adnan Alagić, businessman of the year Jasmin Badžak, and President of the World Rafting Federation, Danilo Barmaz.
Judges at the European Rafting Championship were from seven countries, and representatives of the World Rafting Federation congratulated the organizers on a successfully organized competition.
Samir Krivić, Director of the European Rafting Championship Konjic 2024, thanked everyone who helped in any way with the organization of this high-quality competition, expressing his expectation that this story will continue in the future. He also expressed hope that the night course will become a new tourist brand in the future.
The championship was organized by the club "Rafting River Guide" Konjic and Garden City Hotel Konjic, with the approval of the World Rafting Federation (WRF), and under the patronage of the City of Konjic, as part of the Konjic City Days.
The competitive part officially ended with yesterday's ceremony, and as part of the European Rafting Championship, a business regatta on the Neretva will be organized today for all who helped in holding this competition, which will officially close the European Rafting Championship Konjic 2024.
