Children, diaspora, unity: FK Velež launches a story for the entire red family

(Patria) - Football Club Velež Mostar proudly and with great emotion announced on its official communication channels the beginning of a unique story titled ''From a young age my father taught me – Velež, a family for all time''.



Thus, ahead of the match between Velež and Igman played last week at the Rođeni Stadium, wards of the ''Los Rosales'' Centre, together with players from both teams, greeted the audience present on the occasion of the V International Games organised by the Centre and supported by FK Velež.

The children of this Centre want to show that they are equal members of society, and FK Velež has once again shown its support for the major sporting event that ''Los Rosales'' organises in Mostar.

At the same time, with this symbolic act, the story ''From a young age my father taught me – Velež, a family for all time'' officially began.

Namely, the story is dedicated to all those who feel Velež in their hearts – from the first steps to the red stands. Through a series of activities that have already started, the Club invites fans, supporters and families to become an active part of the community that Velež has nurtured for decades.

Velež as a way of life

''We want this story to be a reminder of what Velež is and has always been – a symbol of Mostar, a club of struggle, dignity and unwavering loyalty. Velež is not just a football club, Velež is a feeling, a way of life, a love passed down through generations'', said the Management of FK Velež.

Activities for the youngest Rođeni

As part of the story, a creative challenge has been launched for primary school, secondary school and university students, through which the youngest fans will have the opportunity to express their love for the club through drawings, essays, poems, plays or multimedia content.

As a symbolic start of connection with the Club from the earliest days, FK Velež has also begun special activities dedicated to newborns, through which even the youngest will have the opportunity to become part of the red family from birth. In this way, the Club wants to further strengthen the intergenerational bond and pass on the emotion to future generations of Rođeni.

Special attention has also been paid to the diaspora, whose members have always been an important part of the red family. FK Velež plans additional activities that will connect Rođeni around the world even more strongly with the club.
