
(Patria) - "A" national team players of Bosnia and Herzegovina have started preparations for the World Cup which will be held this summer in Canada, Mexico and the USA.

Fifteen players have already arrived in Sarajevo today and had a training session in Butmir.

Coach Sergej Barbarez had at his disposal Nikola Vasilj, Osman Hadžikić, Nikola Katić, Amar Dedić, Nihada Mujakić, Dennis Hadžikadunić, Dženis Burnić, Arjan Malić, Benjamin Tahirović, Ivan Bašić, Kerim Alajbegović, Ermin Mahmić, Armin Gigović, Esmir Bajraktarević and captain Edin Džeko.

The remaining players, who have commitments with their clubs this weekend and whose leagues have not yet finished, will arrive at the "Dragons" base by Monday.

The first media activities of the BiH team will be held on Monday, May 25.

Press statements are scheduled for 12:30 PM at the "Malak" Hotel in Ilidža, and training at 5:00 PM in Butmir, which will be open for 15 minutes.
