Derby of the Euros goes to Spain, Italians scored against themselves

(Patria) - The Spanish national team celebrated a minimal victory over Italy tonight in the biggest derby of the European Championship in Germany so far.

At the match played at the "Veltins Arena" in Gelsenkirchen, spectators saw only one goal, and that was scored by the Italians - against themselves.

With an awkward reaction, Bologna defender Riccardo Calafiori, from five meters out in the 55th minute, tucked the ball into his goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma's net.

After two matches, Spain has as many wins, meaning six points, and has already qualified for the round of 16. Italy has 3 points, while Albania and Croatia each have 1.



In the last round, Spain will play against Albania, and Italy against Croatia.
