(Patria) - The draw for the qualifying groups for the World Basketball Championship, to be played in 2027, will be held today in Doha.
As for Europe, the qualifiers will be divided into two phases. In the first, 32 teams will be distributed into eight groups. The top three teams from each group will advance to the second phase.
The BiH national team is in the fifth "pot" of the draw and will face one team each from the first (Serbia, Germany, France, Spain), fourth (Finland, Turkey, Georgia, winner of pre-qualifiers), and eighth seeding group (Cyprus or one of the pre-qualifier teams).
The World Cup qualifiers will be played between November 2025 and March 2027.
