Derby day in the Premier League: Borac hosts Sarajevo, Željo at Grbavica against Zrinjski

(Patria) - The Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina today offers two derby matches of the fifth round. Lovers of domestic football will surely have the opportunity to enjoy an exciting Sunday program.

The first duel is played at 18:45 at the City Stadium in Banja Luka, where Borac and Sarajevo will clash.



This is an old rivalry that traditionally brings a lot of excitement and tension, so a similar atmosphere is expected tonight.

Borac enters this match with seven points won from three games played and a goal difference of 8:1. Sarajevo has collected four points in its three appearances so far, with a goal difference of 7:7.

Both teams also have one postponed match against Zrinjski, which will be played during September. The main referee in Banja Luka will be Sabrija Topalović from Zenica.

After the derby in Banja Luka, attention shifts to Grbavica, where from 21:00, home team Željezničar hosts the current champion, Zrinjski.



Željo enters this match with eight points and a goal difference of 4:2 after four games played. Zrinjski postponed three league matches due to their European commitments, and the only match they have played so far ended goalless against Široki Brijeg.

This derby is also expected to offer a great fight, just like previous encounters between these teams. The referee for the match at Grbavica will be Haris Halkić from Sanski Most.
