Čović launches action: The Three caught between HDZ and SNSD's tough demands, we'll only be able to watch the EU door open!

(Patria) - The Croat National Assembly of BiH will hold its seventh Presidency session tomorrow, November 13, in Mostar.

As officially announced, the Presidency of the Croat National Assembly of BiH will, among other things, consider the Information on activities related to the amendments to the Election Law of BiH and the information on legislative activities related to judicial reform.
Thus, Dragan Čović, the president of HDZ, is officially launching an action. The issue of the Election Law has been one of the most difficult for years, precisely because HDZ BiH ignores all necessary changes and focuses on the issue of legitimacy in the election of the Presidency members of BiH.

Čović recently stated in Tuzla that it is evident that they cannot proceed with solutions that would include constitutional amendments.

“We will ensure that no one is deceived. We are witnesses that if someone deceives one nation, they have essentially deceived BiH. In the next month, the Election Law will be discussed multiple times, we are also talking with international representatives,” Čović said.

Čović did not hide which international representatives he was talking to, and it is not difficult to guess, given that the High Representative in BiH, Christian Schmidt, as stated in the report on BiH's path to the EU, has plunged BiH into legal uncertainty by imposing amendments to the Election Law on election night last year.

“Our colleagues have spoken with representatives of the OHR, I spoke with the US envoy two or three days ago, preparations are being conducted intensively these days. We will very quickly sit down at the table through working bodies dealing with the Election Law and present our proposals. The other two sides will present theirs. For us, the priority in amending the Election Law is legitimate representation. The priority of all priorities,” said Čović.

Only now can difficult times be expected for Bosnia and Herzegovina, and a narrowed scope of action for the Three, who will find themselves in the middle, because on one side there are unrealistic demands from Milorad Dodik, and on the other from Dragan Čović. Each more difficult than the last, but the Three are currently preoccupied with boasting about BiH's path to the European Union, while fiercely confronting the opposition within the Federation.

Thus, 'wounded' as they are, they can hardly stand in the way of Dodik and Čović, and BiH will suffer, which will now remain stuck on the path to the European Union, so the EU door, as Elmedin Konaković likes to say, will only be something we can watch.
