Cadillac in Formula 1 from next season

(Patria) - Cadillac will also participate in the Formula 1 World Championship from 2026, it was officially announced yesterday.

The International Automobile Federation (FIA) reached a preliminary agreement last autumn on Cadillac's entry, which has the support of TWG Motorsports and General Motors.

-As we said in November, General Motors' determination to bring the Cadillac team into Formula 1 was an important and positive indicator of our sport's progress - said F1 President and CEO Stefano Domenicali.

"We have worked hard for the past year to get this opportunity to enter the world of Formula 1," announced TWG Motorsports Executive Chairman Dan Towriss.

Reportedly, 300 people worked on the project of Cadillac's entry into Formula 1.
