(Patria) - Edin Branković, a member of the Skating Roller Club The One and a representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina in short track speed skating, competed in the international competition "Ogolnopolskie" in the city of Opole (Poland), where he won sixth place in the 1000m race among 32 competitors. He won first place in the ranking final B race.
After meeting the standard for major ISU competitions last December, this result is another confirmation of Edin's top-notch approach to training and his return to form after an injury. Furthermore, this result continues the ongoing successes in international competitions and the successful representation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as announced by KRK The One.
In his rich sports career, Branković has achieved numerous top results, some of which are among the best in the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina in winter sports, especially in skating sports, such as: multiple national champion and record holder of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Balkan champion, top 10 competitors in the world (World Junior Championships), special invitation from the President of the IOC for the 2018 Olympic Games, more than ten appearances in the finals of major competitions - finals and semi-finals such as the European Championship and World Cup, and numerous placements among the top 15 and 20 competitors in Europe and the world.
