Bosnia and Herzegovina will be represented by Bosna, Igokea, and Široki Brijeg in the ABA League next season

(Patria) - Široki Brijeg basketball players are the champions of the ABA 2 League!

The team from Herzegovina defeated TFT again tonight in the second leg, this time in Skopje, and won the title which also secures them a place in the ABA League.

The home team held the lead for most of the game, often by more than 10 points.

However, the team from Široki Brijeg managed to keep up, largely thanks to the excellent D'Mitri Trice, who scored from all positions and set up the rest of the team.

Six minutes before the end, the visitors from Herzegovina managed to take the lead (69:71), and then with a dunk by McCreary, they gained a six-point advantage (74:80).

But TFT came back into the game and took the lead 86:85 with a basket by Govens with seven seconds left.

In Široki's final possession, the phenomenal Trice (who scored a total of 32 points) once again stepped up and made the basket for 86:87.

TFT then failed to score in their last play, and the Herzegovinians could celebrate.

This means they are returning to the ABA League after a 12-year wait.

Let's also add that Bosnia and Herzegovina will have three representatives (KK Bosna, Igokea, and Široki Brijeg) in the strongest regional competition next season.
