Bosna secures a spot in the ABA League Top 8

(Patria) - Great news is coming tonight from Subotica for the basketball players of Bosna.

The Sarajevo team has secured a place in the next phase of the regional ABA League one round before the end of the regular season thanks to Budućnost's victory over Spartak (75:66).

After tonight's victory by the Podgorica team, Bosna will certainly finish fourth in the standings, which earns them a spot in the Top 8.

Budućnost managed to make a comeback in the second half against Spartak and achieve victory. However, that victory is celebrated the most in Sarajevo because it confirms another fantastic achievement by Bosna.

Spartak was precisely Bosna's biggest rival in the fight for a place in the Top 8, and the team from Subotica needed a victory against Budućnost tonight to still be in contention for advancing in the final round.

However, Bosna has a better head-to-head record against Spartak because they defeated them twice this season, and regardless of the results in the final round, they will certainly finish fourth and qualify for the Top 8.

In the final round, the Students will play against the last-placed Ilirija in Zetra, and that match is scheduled for next Saturday at 8 PM.
