Bosna, powered by Plummer, defeats Zadar in overtime for an important victory in Zetra

(Patria) - Sarajevo's Bosna was on the verge of defeat against Zadar, but powered by an incredible Alfonso Plummer, managed to secure a golden victory in the 13th round of the ABA League.

The Students celebrated tonight in Sarajevo after overtime with a score of 93:85, writes Faktor.

The stands of the Zetra hall were quite full, and just as many were preparing to go home with their heads down, an incredible turnaround occurred.



The events in the first quarter foreshadowed a very dramatic match. It was mostly played point for point, and after the first 10 minutes of play, the scoreboard read 17:17.

The same picture in the second period. At 3:36 before the end, the Students took the lead after a long time with a basket by Zubac for 31:30, but Zadar was slightly better in the final moments of the first half, and the teams went into halftime with a score of 40:42.

The Students opened the third period better. They found their rhythm and led 53:47 five minutes before the end after a basket by Joesaar. However, the guests also had an answer this time, through the inspired Mihailović, who hit two three-pointers.



Zadar held the lead for most of the last quarter. The last three minutes began with the guests leading 70:73.

A dramatic finish followed, but the Students could not break down the guests.

Plummer continued his excellent performance in overtime and can be said to have justified his status as a huge reinforcement and a new basketball star in Sarajevo tonight.



With 1:17 left, the player from Puerto Rico hit a three-pointer for 88:80, and the winner was already decided. The final score was 93:85.

Alfonso Plummer finished the game with as many as 30 points, including seven three-pointers. Zubac recorded a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds! West added 16, and Atić 14 points.

For the guests, Vladimir Mihailović stood out with 32 points.

Bosna now has a 6:5 record and has significantly increased its chances of reaching the Top 4 of Group B of the ABA League and qualifying for the knockout stage.
