Bosna BHT defeated in Zetra by Ilirija 78:93

(Patria) - The basketball players of Bosna BH Telecom suffered a defeat against Perspektiva Ilirija with a score of 78:93 in the 18th round of the ABA League, played tonight in Sarajevo's Zetra. Although the home team started the game excellently and had a lead in the first quarter, the rest of the match saw a complete drop in the Students' play, as well as a lot of nervousness due to the refereeing criteria.

Bosna finished the first quarter with a score of 29:26, with a great Janarijo Joesaar and a motivated Đoko Šalić, but the key moment of the match occurred in the second period. Ilirija then made an incredible 20:0 run, completely turned the tide of the game, and went into halftime with a significant 52:40 lead.

The home team fell out of rhythm during that period, and numerous fouls against key players presented an additional problem.

The third quarter saw an attempt by Bosna to come back, but every home team surge was quickly stopped. Atić, Halilović, and Caruthers quickly got into foul trouble, which significantly shortened coach Pašalić's rotation. Although Šalić and Atić tried to keep up, Ilirija consistently maintained a double-digit lead with calm and disciplined play.
