(Patria) - The autumn part of the Premier League of BiH has concluded. With the postponed match of the 14th round between Sloboda and Borac, the curtain fell on 2024.
The Banja Luka side celebrated a 3-2 victory tonight and closed the gap to the leading Zrinjski to just three points, reports Faktor.ba.
Borac started the match excellently, and already in the third minute Despotović found the net for the visitors' lead.
However, the Tuzla side played superbly until the break, probably their best half of the season, and in the 19th minute they managed to score through Mekić, their first goal in three months, leveling the score.
Five minutes of play in the second half were enough for Borac to regain the lead. Despotović again beat Lolić.
Three minutes later, Delimeđac received a second yellow card, i.e., a red card, making the task easier for the visitors.
In the 65th minute, Čavić was the executor of the third goal for Borac. It was questionable whether the ball had fully crossed the line. This was not visible even on the TV replay, but after a check in the VAR room, it was confirmed that it had, so referee Bilbija pointed to the center.
In the 90th minute, Hrvanović softened Sloboda's defeat after capitalizing on a misunderstanding between Manojlović and Meijers.
After 17 matches played, Sloboda has only two points and is last in the standings, while Borac is in second place with 41 points.
