(Patria) - Footballers of Banja Luka's Borac defeated Posušje 3:1 in the 18th round of the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina tonight.
Banja Luka thus took advantage of Zrinjski's slip-up, which let a victory slip against Velež in the final minutes, and moved three points clear of their closest pursuer.
As soon as the match started, Kati scored an own goal after a misunderstanding by the visiting team.
This was followed by better play from Posušje, and the reward came in the 15th minute when Domančić equalized.
In the remainder of the half, we watched an even duel, and Borac regained the lead in the 33rd minute when Hiroš crossed from a corner, and Ogrinec scored for 2:1.
Posušje could have equalized again five minutes later, but Berbić saved the goal from Mulat.
In the second half, Borac managed to break the game with individual quality.
It was the 59th minute when Hiroš assisted Juričić, who routinely scored for 3:1, reaching his 13th goal of the current season.
The score remained 3:1 for Borac until the end, who now have 40 points, three more than second-placed Zrinjski. On the other hand, Posušje is second to last with only 14 points.
