Borac celebrated in Mostar and drew level at the top of the table with Zrinjski

(Patria) - In a clash between the two leading teams of the WWin league, Borac footballers defeated hosts Zrinjski in Mostar with a score of 1:0.

The "nobles" offered little in the first 45 minutes of the match, while the visitors from Banja Luka threatened dangerously several times on counterattacks.

One such situation occurred in the 13th minute, and Đorđe Despotović finished Borac's counterattack with a header for 0:1.

In the second half, the home footballers managed to shift the game to Borac's half, but Zrinjski's attacks remained fruitless, and Borac's defense easily dealt with them.

The only two more serious chances for Zrinjski footballers came after set pieces. In the 62nd minute, Slobodan Jakovljević headed wide from five-six meters, and in the 89th minute, Duje Dujmović's shot was saved by Borac goalkeeper Damjan Šiškovski.

Borac thus took three points from Mostar, and with nine rounds left until the end, Zrinjski and Borac are tied at the top of the table with 60 points each.
