Borac with a man down takes all the spoils from Grbavica with a goal in stoppage time

(Patria) - Banja Luka's Borac defeated Željezničar at Grbavica by a minimal score in the derby of the 25th round of the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Already at the start of the match, the visitors had the misfortune of captain Grahovac getting injured, who was replaced by Skorup.

The first big chance for the Banja Luka side came in the fifth minute. Herrera made a great run down the left side, played the ball into the six-yard box for Juričić, whose shot was saved by Muftić.

Juričić shot from close range again in the 22nd minute, but Muftić reacted brilliantly once more. Seven minutes later, the goalkeeper of the Blues distinguished himself again, after a powerful shot by Hiroš.



Savić then shot from an angle in the 31st minute, Muftić remained unbeaten again.

Željezničar threatened more seriously for the first time at the start of the second half. Alić took a great free kick from over 25 meters, but the ball went just wide of the post.

It seemed Željo then gained confidence and began creating chances. After a corner in the 58th minute, Milošević shot from close range, but Jurkas made a great save.



Seven minutes later, Jurkas reacted poorly after a corner, and Pejić shot wide of the goal, even though Borac's goalkeeper was not in the net.

Borac's goalkeeper was under pressure again in the 75th minute, when he saved a powerful shot from Alić.

The Banja Luka side were reduced to ten men ten minutes before the end, as substitute Omar Sijarić received a second yellow card. He had spent only 12 minutes on the pitch.



Željezničar, however, did not capitalize on their numerical advantage, although they did apply pressure.

Borac scored the winning goal in stoppage time. Herrera took a free kick from the side, and the ball bounced off the post into the net of the Blues.

After that goal, there was little time left for the Blues to change anything, so the Banja Luka side ultimately took all the spoils from Grbavica.
