Borac draws in Ljubljana and achieves historic success for BiH football

(Patria) - Borac from Banja Luka wrote new pages of club, but also Bosnian-Herzegovinian football history tonight.

The team from Banja Luka became the first team from Bosnia and Herzegovina to play in the round of 16 of the UEFA Conference League, writes Faktor.

The BiH champion eliminated Olimpija Ljubljana in the play-off tonight. The match at Stožice ended goalless, which was enough for advancement, as Borac had won 1-0 in the first leg seven days ago.

The Slovenians started strongly, and already in the sixth minute, they had a great opportunity. After a corner, Meijers fouled Tamm, after which the VAR room intervened.

Lithuanian referee Manfredas Lukjančukas went to watch the replay and, to the delight of the home fans, pointed to the penalty spot in the 6th minute.

Borac will play against Fiorentina or Rapid Vienna in the round of 16, which will be determined by a draw.
