
(Patria) - Banja Luka's Borac took the top of the BiH Premier League table with a convincing win against Široki Brijeg.
In the sixth round, Borac hosted the team from Herzegovina and celebrated a convincing 5:1 victory. Already in the ninth minute, the hosts took the lead – after a cross from Herrera, Juričić was precise. Before the break, the second goal arrived. Herrera crossed again, and this time Hrelja headed in for 2:0.
At the start of the second half, the Banja Luka offensive continued. Brilliant Juričić scored another goal, increasing the lead to 3:0. Široki Brijeg managed to reduce the deficit – in the 57th minute, Sesar took advantage of a Borac defensive error and made it 3:1.
The “goal fest” continued – in the 67th minute, Savić found the net for 4:1. Just before the end of the match, Borac was reduced to ten men as young Berbić received a second yellow, i.e., a red card. However, even the numerical disadvantage did not stop the hosts – the match ended 5:1, with the final goal scored by Amer Hiroš.
