(Patria) - Banja Luka's Borac is the new champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina in football.
The champions confirmed their title today at their stadium with a 4-3 victory over Igman from Konjic, in the penultimate, 32nd round of the BiH Premier League.
It should be emphasized that they had the full support of the refereeing trio, led by Aleksandar Njegomirović, in this endeavor.
The refereeing farce by the main referee and his assistants was evident in a non-existent penalty for Borac at the start of the second half, a regular goal for Igman disallowed for a non-existent offside, and a conceded goal for the home team, despite it being an offside position.
Coach Vinko Marinović's team secured an insurmountable lead over Zrinjski, and the final whistle from referee Njegomirović signaled the start of a grand celebration in Banja Luka.

League table before the final round:

The Football Association of BiH has prepared a proposal to reduce the BiH elite league to ten clubs starting from the 2025/26 season, which needs to be adopted by the Association's Assembly.
If this proposal is adopted, four worst-placed teams will be relegated from the elite league next season, which guarantees a very interesting season.
