Boxing Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina becomes a member of World Boxing

(Patria) - The Boxing Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina proudly announces its official membership in World Boxing – the world boxing federation recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

After one year of dedicated work, effort, and persistence, the Management Board of the Boxing Federation of BiH, led by President Predrag Bartula, has successfully concluded the complex process of admitting Bosnia and Herzegovina into this prestigious global sports family. The Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina also provided significant support in this process, to whom we extend our sincere gratitude on this occasion.

"This is a historic moment for Bosnian-Herzegovinian boxing. We have overcome all difficulties, internal problems, and illegal attempts by individuals with personal interests to take over the Federation. Our boxers and sports workers have achieved one of the most important victories, which is the return of the Federation to where it belongs, into the world Olympic family," stated the President of the Federation, Predrag Bartula.

This membership opens a new chapter for boxing in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The focus will now shift to strengthening domestic championships, the Premier League of BiH, as well as the development and preparation of national teams that will compete on the international stage under the flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Boxing Federation of BiH will continue to operate in the interest of the sport, transparency, and the development of young talents across BiH.
