Former Zrinjski and Borac coach Mladen Žižović dies during match in Lučani

(Patria) - The 14th round match of the Serbian Super League between Mladost from Lučani and Radnički 1923 was marked by tragedy.

The new head coach of the team from Kragujevac, Mladen Žižović, suddenly fell ill next to the bench during the first half of the match played in Lučani, causing him to collapse on the pitch.

The medical team reacted immediately, after which Žižović was taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, according to Serbian media reports, he soon passed away.

Mladen Žižović was born on 27 December 1980 in Rogatica. After his playing career, he dedicated himself to coaching and served as head coach of Radnik from Bijeljina, Zrinjski Mostar, Macedonian Shkupi, Saudi Al Khoolod, Sloboda from Tuzla, and Borac from Banja Luka.
