(Patria) - Mostar's Zrinjski confirmed on their Facebook profile that they will be without their captain and all-time top scorer Nemanja Bilbija for several months.
"Nemanja Bilbija underwent further examinations today at St. Catherine's Special Hospital, and unfortunately, they confirmed that our captain's injury from the match against Borac (1:0) is serious and requires surgery and a multi-month rehabilitation process," stated Zrinjski.
They expressed their full support to their captain, wished him a successful recovery, and a swift return to the field.
This season, Bilbija has played 47 matches in all competitions, scoring 29 goals and providing 10 assists.
