BiH tonight against Italy in a crucial EuroBasket match

(Patria) - The basketball national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina is playing the third round of Group C at EuroBasket tonight at 8:30 PM against Italy.

After a heavy defeat against Spain (88:67), this is an opportunity for Adis Bećiragić's chosen players to improve their impression and take an important step towards the round of 16.

Coach Bećiragić admitted that the team did not perform as expected against Spain, but believes they will look significantly better against Italy. The Italians, like BiH, have recorded a win and a loss in the first two rounds, and their coach Gianmarco Pozzecco emphasized respect for the BiH national team before the match, particularly highlighting Jusuf Nurkić. He also expressed regret that Džanan Musa, whom he considers one of the best European talents, is not at the championship.

The top four teams from the group will qualify for the knockout stage, and if BiH advances, they would play against a rival from Group D in the round of 16 on September 7, where France, Slovenia, Poland, Israel, Belgium, and Iceland are located.

The BiH – Italy match is being played tonight at 8:30 PM, broadcast on FTV, Arena Sport, and Sport Klub.
