
(Patria) - In the first ten months of this year, BiH achieved exports in the amount of 13 billion and 394 million KM, which is 4.8 percent less than in the same period (January-October) last year.
Imports amounted to 23 billion and 866 million KM, which is 3 percent more than in the same period of 2023.
The coverage of imports by exports for the ten months of this year was 56.1 percent, and BiH's foreign trade deficit amounted to 10 billion and 472 million KM.
Exports to CEFTA countries in the period January - October 2024 amounted to 2 billion and 275 million KM, which is 13.1 percent less than in the same period of 2023.
Imports amounted to 2 billion and 826 million KM, which is 3.6 percent more than in the same period last year, according to data from the Agency for Statistics of BiH.
The coverage of imports by exports to CEFTA countries in that period was 80.5 percent.
Exports to EU countries in the ten months of this year amounted to 9 billion and 861 million KM, which is 4.6 percent less than in the same period of 2023, while imports amounted to 14 billion and 181 million KM, which is 4.3 percent more than in the same period last year.
The coverage of imports by exports to EU countries was 69.5 percent.
