Bosnia and Herzegovina in the final of the European Wheelchair Basketball Championship

(Patria) - The national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina is in the final of the European Wheelchair Basketball Championship.

Today, our representatives defeated Latvia in an extremely dramatic semifinal match with a score of 74:72, securing a place in the final scheduled for tomorrow at 16:45 in the Arena of Hotel Hills in Ilidža.



With an excellent start to the game, our team built a 16-point lead in the first quarter, which was reduced to 3 by halftime.

In the second half, the game was played point for point, and through extremely disciplined play and the efforts of all players on the court, we achieved a well-deserved victory.

In the final match, our representatives will face the very strong Swiss team, which defeated them in the group stage of the competition.



By reaching the final, the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina has once again secured a return to Division A, among the top 10 European teams, after being relegated due to a lack of financial resources to compete in the elite tier.
