Bosnian coaches Sandi Šahman and Asim Škaljić in the professional staff of the Omani Sultan's football club

(Patria) - Bosnian player and coach Sandi Šahman, born in Hamburg, Germany, has played and worked in Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, China, Bangladesh during his football career, and recently became part of the professional staff of Al-Seeb SC in Oman.

"The suitcases of professional athletes and coaches are always packed. A constant change of clubs is an integral part of their job today, and I have already changed a large number of them in my career," says Šahman.



He adds that this is a new challenge for him and he is glad to be part of the most successful club in Oman.

"The top football agent from Malaysia, Razeen Khalid, had the biggest impact on the realization of my transfer. He arranged all the details and deserves the most credit for Nikola Đurović becoming the head of Al-Seeb's professional staff in the upcoming period. Before Oman, he managed the Saudi Arabian team Al-Hilal, which features one of the highest-paid players, Neymar, who earns close to 200 million dollars per season with bonuses. Đurović gave a positive opinion for my arrival, and then Razeen Khalid finalized everything. I am glad to be working with such a professional as Đurović, in whose staff I work as a fitness coach and video analyst," Sandi continues.

Our football coach points out that Al-Seeb SC is the club of the Omani Sultan Haitham bin Tariq.

"The club president is his brother, who is also the Minister of Defense, Shihab bin Tariq. I have been working in Asia for many years, so I quickly got used to life in Oman. Football is very popular in Oman, and I am glad that Asim Škaljić, whom I have known for about ten years, has joined the club as a coach. It's nice to have a compatriot in this distant country and a person who genuinely lives football," says Sandi Šahman.
