Bosnia and Herzegovina team at the Paralympic Games represented by Barlov, Bejdić, and the sitting volleyball team

(Patria) - The Paralympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina presented the athletes for the Paralympic Games in Paris, which will be held in Paris from August 28 to September 8.

BiH will be represented by the sitting volleyball team, as well as para-swimmer Ismail Barlov and shooter Ervin Bejdić.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina sitting volleyball team will compete in Group A along with France, Egypt, and Kazakhstan.

Our country will be represented in Paris by Asim Medić, Armin Šehić, Ermin Jusufović, Adnan Manko, Ismet Godinjak, Dževad Hamzić, Edin Đino, Mirzet Duran, Stevan Crnobrnja, Sabahudin Delalić, Nizam Čančar, and Safet Alibašić.

In para-swimming, Ismail Barlov will compete in two disciplines: 150 meters medley and 50 meters breaststroke.

In shooting, Ervin Bejdić will compete in three disciplines: P1 - 10 meters air pistol, P3 - 25 meters pistol, and P4 - 50 meters pistol.

We wish them much success and luck in their performances and hope they will achieve outstanding results," said the Paralympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Barlov continues to prepare for his participation in the Games under the watchful eye of his coach Amel Kapo.

"It is difficult to make promises at the biggest competition in the world, even for swimmers much more experienced than me. However, with selector Amel Kapo, I am in the midst of preparation for the Paralympic Games in Paris. We are currently training at the Otoka Olympic Pool in Sarajevo twice a day. We have completed our stay in Zaostrog and then in Split, and we will do the final fine-tuning of our form in Slovenia. What I can definitely promise in Paris is that I will do everything to make all the fans and people in Bosnia and Herzegovina happy and proud. I want to make myself and the people who have supported me all these years happy. My goal is to swim under one minute in the breaststroke discipline, and we will see how much of all that I manage to achieve," said Ismail Barlov for Nezavisne novine.
