(Patria) - Merima Čelik and Merima Tanović have received an invitation to officiate matches at the qualifying tournament for the European Championship for the U19 age group.
Four national teams are participating in this mini-tournament, and the matches are being played in Bulgaria.
In addition to the host, the Bulgarian team, Group A3 also includes the Republic of Ireland, Finland, and Norway.
Our referees had their first match yesterday, with Merima Čelik serving as the fourth official and Merima Tanović as an assistant in the match between the Republic of Ireland and Bulgaria, which ended 2-0 in favor of Ireland.
The tournament runs from November 27 to December 3, and Merima Čelik will be the main referee in the matches between the Republic of Ireland and Finland, and Norway and the Republic of Ireland.
It is worth noting that in both matches, the role of the first assistant belongs to one of the best assistants in BiH, Merima Tanović.
