(Patria) - The women's cadet (U-16) national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated Norway today with a score of 61:58, thus winning first place in Group C of the European Championship Division B in Istanbul without a loss.
The most effective player for our national team was Emilia Jovičić with 17 points, while Ana Sofilj added 11.
Nora Svenningsen was the most effective for the Norwegians with 20 points scored.
In the quarterfinals of the European Championship Division B, our young basketball players will play against Lithuania or Bulgaria. The match is scheduled for Wednesday, August 27.
