Bosnia and Herzegovina Cadets Outplay Hosts of European Championship Division B in Skopje

(Patria) - The BiH men's cadet (U-16) national team defeated North Macedonia, the host of the European Championship Division B, in Skopje today.

The Macedonians had a halftime lead (28:26), but in the second half, coach Ahmet Pašalić's players played much better, made a comeback, and took a 32:44 lead.

The home team did not give up and erased BiH's lead, going ahead 51:50 with four minutes left. However, the BiH national team showed superior quality in the final moments and ultimately won 56:61.

The winning team was led by Imran Subašić (17 points) and Muhamed Bristina (11 points, 11 rebounds), while North Macedonia's top scorer was Pavel Gjinovski (21 points).

Our cadets will play Cyprus tomorrow (1:30 PM) in the last match of the group stage.
