(Patria) - The Bosnia and Herzegovina "A" futsal national team will play two friendly matches with the Portuguese national team in Lisbon.
The matches are scheduled for January 16 at 6:00 PM in the Pavilhão Leões Porto Salvo hall, and on January 18 at 6:00 PM in the FPF Arena.
Coach Goran Melher has invited the following players for this national team action: Darko Milanović (Bubamara), Sejad Ibrišimović (Bubamara), Miloš Todorić (Pula, Croatia), Emir Mustafić (Željezničar), Anes Demirović (Željezničar), Ahmed Kadić (Akademac), Srđan Ivanković (Mostar SG), Matej Krezo (Dinamo, Croatia), Almedin Bundavica (Bubamara), Samir Gosto (Bubamara), Dejan Živković (Borac), Amer Delić (Sloga Gornji Vakuf), Amir Baručija (Mostar SG), Ajdin Drina (GFC Sarajevo).
- We are going to Lisbon with a considerably younger squad. We want to test as many young players as possible, and our goal is to build a squad for the next qualifying cycle in the coming period.
We have matches ahead of us against an extremely high-quality Portuguese team, the current European champions and winners of the World Cup from the previous cycle, which is the best possible test for our team.
Such encounters are valuable because they provide an opportunity for the team to gel further, gain important international experience, and raise the level of play. The result is certainly not the priority, but rather the development of the team and preparation for the challenges that await us in the remainder of the year - said coach Melher.
The players will gather on January 12 in Zenica, and will travel to Lisbon three days later.
