Bosnia and Herzegovina basketball players excelled in Croatia: Won gold and qualified for the Masters in Hong Kong

(Patria) - The team of Bosnia and Herzegovina in basketball (3x3) achieved great success by winning a prestigious tournament in Croatia, defeating the Užice team in the final with a score of 10:5.

Although the weather conditions were extremely difficult due to strong winds, the BiH team showed resilience, concentration, and quality when it mattered most.

The final match featured a battle between two highly motivated teams.

Užice started the game slightly better and took a 1:0 lead, but the BiH team quickly consolidated.

Amar Alibegović quickly equalized the score, and Aleksandar Lazić already stood out with a fantastic block.

A turnaround followed after Vidović's basket for 2:1, and although the rivals quickly equalized, the BiH team then took complete control.

Alibegović also excelled with two consecutive points, giving them a 4:2 lead, while Lazić scored for 5:2 five minutes before the end.

The most effective player of the match, Alibegović, also scored for 6:2, further extending the opponent's deficit.

Užice tried to come back through Popović and free throws, but the BiH team did not allow a complete turnaround.

Lazić once again excelled in defense, and after reviewing the footage, he received confirmation that his basket for 7:4 was completely legitimate.

Kaluđerović sealed the victory a minute and a half before the end with a basket for 8:4, and the BiH team calmly brought the match to an end, with a final score of 10:5.

In addition to the excellent Lazić and Alibegović, Vidović and Kaluđerović also delivered outstanding performances.

The BiH team had previously eliminated favored teams in the quarterfinals and semifinals, including Liman, one of the strongest teams in the world.

With this victory, Bosnia and Herzegovina secured a spot in the major FIBA Masters tournament in Hong Kong, which will be held in mid-next month.

A great prelude to what could be another unforgettable episode for BiH basketball.
