(Patria) - We witnessed truly spectacular scenes at Koševo tonight.
More than 30,000 fans gave the Dragons a send-off to the World Cup, which will be held this summer in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team hosted North Macedonia as part of their preparations for the World Cup, and the match ended as it began - 0:0.
In the first half, the Dragons had territorial initiative, greater possession and more chances. They hit the goal frame twice, but unfortunately the net did not bulge, reports Faktor.
First, in the fourth minute, after a clever move, Alajbegović hit the crossbar (the ball deflected off a defender). Then, in the 45th minute, Baždar headed the ball against the post.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina striker also had a chance a few seconds before the end of the first half, but was selfish and the opportunity was wasted.
The visitors also threatened once after a mistake by the Bosnian defence. Goalkeeper Zlomislić was beaten, but Radeljić cleared the ball off the line.
During the half-time break, bad news arrived from Koševo. Osman Hadžikić, the Dragons' reserve goalkeeper, was injured during the warm-up. He suffered a hamstring injury and was carried off the pitch on a stretcher.
The first chance in the second half fell to our national team players. Mahmić set up Memić, who shot wide from a good position.
A twenty-minute lull followed, broken by Demirović when he hit the side netting.
BHT1 cameras caught selector Sergej Barbarez on several occasions visibly nervous, reacting to certain moves on the pitch...
The score did not change until the end, and the result and Hadžikić's injury certainly spoiled the overall impression from Koševo.
