(Patria) - The group stage of the European Football Championship in Germany continues today with matches in groups E and F.
At 3:00 PM, the national teams of Georgia and the Czech Republic will face each other. Both selections suffered defeats against their opponents in group F at the start of the tournament. Georgia was defeated by Turkey 1:3 in the first round, and the Czech Republic lost points in stoppage time in a duel with Portugal (1:2).
In the second match of group F at 6:00 PM, Turkey and Portugal will play, both having started their EURO 2024 campaign with wins in the first round.
In group E, at 9:00 PM, Belgium and Romania will play. Belgium opened EURO with a shocking defeat against Slovakia, while Romania thrashed Ukraine 3:0.
The situation in group E was complicated by yesterday's victory of Ukraine over Slovakia, so now even three national teams - Romania, Ukraine, and Slovakia - have three points each, while the favored Belgium is without points and will have a must-win imperative against Romania tonight.
