Barca and PSG secure wins in first quarter-final duels

(Patria) - Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain achieved convincing victories on their home grounds tonight in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.

Barca lived up to their favourite status and thrashed German side Borussia Dortmund 4-0.

Raphinha gave the Catalans the lead in the 25th minute. In the 48th minute, Lewandowski scored for 2-0, assisted by Raphinha.

Lewandowski scored again in the 66th minute for 3-0, and Yamal sealed the final 4-0 in the 77th minute of the match.

Barcelona is practically one foot in the semi-finals, and for that not to happen, Borussia would truly need a miracle in the second leg.

In the other quarter-final match tonight, PSG hosted Aston Villa and celebrated a 3-1 victory after a comeback.

The visitors took the lead in the 35th minute through Rogers, but Doue quickly responded - scoring in the 40th minute for 1-1.

Already at the very beginning of the second half, specifically in the 49th minute, PSG completed the comeback with a goal from Kvaratskhelia.

Mendes scored in stoppage time for the final 3-1.
