(Patria) - The senior national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina will play a World Cup qualifier against Cyprus and a friendly match against Malta in October.
The "Dragons" will visit Cyprus in Larnaca on October 9th, while the duel with Malta is scheduled for October 12th in Ta’ Qali.
Coach Sergej Barbarez announced a list of 25 players and three preliminary call-ups. Compared to the matches against San Marino and Austria, Stjepan Radeljić is not included, while Jusuf Gazibegović is on the preliminary call-up list.

Goalkeepers: Nikola Vasilj (St. Pauli), Martin Zlomislić (Rijeka), Osman Hadžikić (Slaven Belupo).
Defense: Nihad Mujakić (Eyupspor), Nikola Katić (Schalke 04), Tarik Muharemović (Sassuolo), Dženis Burnić (Karlsruher), Amar Dedić (Benfica), Adrian Leon Barišić (Basel), Eman Košpo (Fiorentina), Dennis Hadžikadunić (Sampdoria).
Midfield and Attack: Luka Menalo (Rijeka), Ivan Šunjić (Pafos), Ivan Bašić (Astana), Kerim Alajbegović (Salzburg), Amar Memić (Plzen), Ermedin Demirović (Stuttgart), Benjamin Tahirović (Brondby), Haris Hajradinović (Kasimpasa), Edin Džeko (Fiorentina), Armin Gigović (Young Boys), Nail Omerović (Osijek), Esmir Bajraktarević (PSV), Haris Tabaković (Gladbach), Samed Baždar (Real Zaragoza).

Coach Barbarez emphasized that he is bringing back three players to the national team – Dennis Hadžikadunić, Haris Tabaković, and Luka Menalo.
„We approach this gathering with great optimism and I believe we will continue our journey in the way we all desire – fighting, together, and with a clear goal. Points from Cyprus would mean a lot for the continuation of the qualifiers, and the duel with Malta will be important in preparing the team for future challenges“, stated Barbarez.
The coach's press conference is scheduled for Monday, October 6th, at 11:00 AM at the premises of the Football Association of BiH in Sarajevo.
