Barbarez Announces Squad for Netherlands and Hungary, States: "The Most Important Thing is That We Progress"

(Patria) - The head coach of the senior national football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sergej Barbarez, has announced the list of players he is counting on for the September UEFA Nations League matches against the Netherlands and Hungary.

"It is important for the players to be proud when playing for the national team; certainly, these situations in recent years have also affected the players," said Barbarez.

He emphasized that it is crucial for the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina to continue progressing as a whole and for there to be spirit and desire in the team.

"The most important thing is that this team visibly progresses, but we must be realistic, it is important that we progress as a whole, but a spirit has been created that we have recognized. It is important that this spirit exists and it is important that everyone comes with pride to the national team gathering. We want to restore faith in us, although it is not easy, but it will be known when the anthem is played and how the players are feeling," said Barbarez.

The best footballers of BiH, within League A of the Nations League, will visit the Netherlands on September 7th in Eindhoven, and then on September 10th, they will face Hungary in Budapest.
