Barbarez makes a change to the squad ahead of the World Cup

The head coach of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team, Sergej Barbarez, has made a change to the squad just before the start of the World Cup. Instead of Nidal Čelik, Arjan Malić has been included, reports sportsport.ba.

Nidal Čelik will not be part of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team at the World Cup. The talented 19-year-old centre-back has been ruled out due to injury.

In place of Čelik, the defensive player from Sturm Graz, Arjan Malić, has taken the spot. This change was confirmed by FIFA 24 hours before the match against Canada in the first round of the World Cup.

Arjan Malić made his debut for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team last year. He has played eight matches for the Dragons.
