(Patria) - The footballers of Banja Luka's Borac did not stay long in Europe this season - they were eliminated in the first qualifying round of the Conference League by Santa Coloma.
The team from Andorra humiliated the vice-champion of our country, winning 4:3 (a 4:1 victory in Banja Luka and a 0:2 loss at home).
Despite playing only one home European match (on July 10), the Banja Luka side received a severe penalty from the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA).
As confirmed to Faktor, UEFA fined the Banja Luka team just over 140,000 KM (72,625 euros).
For blocking passageways, Borac will have to pay 18,000 euros. Throwing objects cost the Banja Luka side 15,125 euros, and locked emergency exits 15,000 euros.
For the use of lasers, they will have to pay 14,000 euros, and for part of the damage to the stadium and/or its installations, they will have to pay 10,500 euros.
Borac earned 325,000 euros from Europe, and after deducting the fine imposed by UEFA, the actual earnings will amount to 252,375 euros.
