(Patria) - Spanish tennis players Carlos Alcaraz and Rafael Nadal qualified tonight for the second round of the doubles tournament at the Olympic Games in Paris.
The Spaniards defeated Argentinians Maximo Gonzalez and Andres Molteni in the first round in two sets (7:6, 6:4), in one hour and 47 minutes.
Nadal and Alcaraz allowed their opponents two breaks during the match, but took their service three times, which was enough to advance.
In the second round, the Spaniards will await the winner of the match between the Dutch pair Tallon Griekspoor and Wesley Koolhof and the Hungarian pair Marton Fucsovics and Fabian Marozsan.
