Aleksandra Samardžić at the Olympic Games for the first time

(Patria) - The Olympic Committee has published the profile of another participant in the Olympic Games, judoka Aleksandra Samardžić. Although Samardžić had knee surgery a few days ago, it is clear that this will not disrupt her path to the Olympics.

Place and date of birth: Trebinje, 23.09.1997.
Club: Judo Club City Centar Sarajevo
Olympic discipline: Judo -70 kg

Best career results: 2nd place YOG 2014, 2nd place Junior World Championships 2017, 3rd place Grand Prix Upper 2024, 3rd place Grand Slam Baku 2017, 3rd place European U23 Championships 2016

These are her first Olympic Games.

"I am very happy that I managed to meet the norm for my first Olympic Games. I can't wait for my performance in Paris and I hope to show myself in the best light and make all sports fans in Bosnia and Herzegovina happy."
