
(Patria) - Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina are at the bottom of Europe in purchasing power and production, according to Eurostat data, reports RSE.
Gross domestic product (GDP) per capita in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania amounts to only 36 percent of the average GDP in Europe.

This places Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania at the bottom of the list of 36 European countries, led by Luxembourg, Ireland, and the Netherlands.
In addition to European Union (EU) countries, the analysis includes Iceland, Norway, and Switzerland, as well as six candidate countries for EU membership.
When it comes to countries in the region, Slovenia ranks best, followed by Croatia, then Montenegro, Serbia, and North Macedonia.
