In Montenegro nearly 190,000 fixed-line telephony users

(Patria) - At the end of May, there were 189,820 fixed-line telephony connections in Montenegro, 19 more than in April, according to data from the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Activities (EKIP).

Of this number, Crnogorski Telekom had 100,580, M:tel 71,710, Telemach 15,170, One 2,340, and Orion Telekom 15 connections.

Crnogorski Telekom's share in the fixed-line telephony market is 52.99 percent, M:tel's 37.78 percent, Telemach's 7.99 percent, One's 1.23 percent, and Orion Telekom's negligible.

Compared to the same period last year, the number of fixed-line telephony users in May decreased by 0.23 percent.

Of the total number of fixed-line telephony connections, 85.27 percent are for citizens and 14.73 percent for companies.
