Fans speak out: Tonight's systematic repression by the KS Ministry of Interior at our club's home game is unprecedented!

(Patria) - The fan group Horde zla is silently watching the match between Sarajevo and Velež at the Koševo stadium.

Completely unusually, there are no banners or other symbols of this fan group in front of the north stand, and for the first 20 minutes of the match, members of Horde zla sat in their seats.

After that, a banner was raised that read "Eternal glory and thanks to the heroes of the defense" of Sarajevo. The silence at Koševo was briefly interrupted by chanting the name Vedran Puljić, and then resumed.

In the 30th minute of the match, Horde zla left the stadium. A group of Velež fans also arrived at Koševo.

Before the match, the club informed the fans about certain rules that must be followed, such as the prohibition of bringing pyrotechnic devices, lighters, electronic cigarettes, plastic packaging, and hard objects.

However, a Factor reader reports that the security measures at the entrances to the stands are even stricter, so those who counted on drinking their favorite childhood juice, Dvojni C, were disappointed.

Meanwhile, UNFKS has issued a statement.

"Tonight's systematic repression by the KS Ministry of Interior at our club's home game is something unprecedented, not even seen at stadiums where we are primarily not favored due to reasons unrelated to sports, let alone because of the club we support or the city we come from. As announced, a fence and a ticket control point have been set up in front of the north stand, and inside the entrance to the north stand, there are fixed search booths, and an unprecedented presence of police officers on the stand itself, both in uniform and full gear, as well as in plain clothes.

Due to such detailed checks at a match against a club and fans who have been considered friendly for years, entry to the north stand was delayed by 20 minutes after the start of the match. As an expression of revolt against all of this, our fan group left the north stand after the 24th minute and chanting for our murdered brother from the stands, Vedran Puljić.

We ask again, in whose interest is such police conduct towards fans? Is it aimed at further demonstrating control over the security situation in an election year, and on whom is it easier to demonstrate this than on fan groups? Every form of crime in the city is on the rise, we read daily in the news about arrested members of various police agencies who are soon released, and the authorities' biggest problem are the fans, their banners, and pyrotechnics...

If this practice continues in the future, it is questionable whether the north stand of our stadium will hear songs of support..."
