(Patria) - Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, Milanko Kajganić, met in Belgrade with the newly appointed acting Chief Prosecutor of the Public Prosecutor's Office for War Crimes of Serbia, Dušan Knežević.

The meeting discussed the cooperation between the two prosecutor's offices, which have had significant communication and cooperation in the fight against impunity for war crimes in the past period, and which is also realized in coordination with the prosecutor of the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Courts (IRMCT) in The Hague.

The continuation of cooperation in the coming period was agreed upon at the meeting, as the Prosecutor's Office of BiH and the Special Department for War Crimes and the Public Prosecutor's Office for War Crimes of Serbia are working on cases that require and are indispensable for international legal assistance and cooperation, in order to prosecute and conclude the cases in the judicial institutions of BiH and Serbia.
